Become an Instructor Faq’s

How do I Become a Street Fit Instructor?

Anyone aged 18 or over can become a Street Fit Instructor. A dance or fitness background is often an advantage, but is not compulsory.

To become a Street Fit Instructor (and obtain your Street Fit licence) you have to successfully complete a Street Fit Instructors’ Course. This is a one-off day course and includes all necessary training followed by an assessment (an observed practical session and a multiple choice test). By the end of the day you will know your course outcome.

For a list of course dates, venues and prices, scroll to the bottom of the Become an Street Fit Instructor page of our website.

Your Street Fit  Instructor’s Licence* will give you the right to teach the Street Fit  workouts and use the Street Fit  name and logo (under the terms and conditions of the Street Fit Licence Agreement).

A Street Fit Instructor is an independent contractor so you will set up your own classes, including prices, terms, agreements, etc. with the facilities you choose.

The Street Fit Instructors’ Course training and associated materials (choreography DVD, music, Instructor’s Manual, etc.) provide plenty of guidance to get you started, but we recommend considering becoming a Street Fit Member. Membership is optional but provides members with extra choreography, music, marketing support and materials, etc.
